Rameswarpur Post Office — A Historic Legacy Established in 1937, during British rule in India, through the initiative of the Rameswarpur Ghosh Zamindar family. Rare photographs from its historic inauguration, preserving a remarkable chapter of Rameswarpur’s heritage and glorious past. During British India, the Ghosh Zamindar family of Rameswarpur took several visionary initiatives to promote education for both boys and girls. That legacy of educational commitment and public service continues to live on. Today, this government school stands as a reputed, government-recognized institution with 1,200+ students, playing an important role for educational development.
